Regarding the Future Aces Workshop to the George Harvey CI Student Council, Spring 2006

Once the workshop came to an end, the presenters handed out the mini alert pads to the students. They explained that when they observe a good deed, they were to write a message of 'thank you' and praise to that person and give it to them.

Then one of the students wrote a 'Thank you' message to Mrs. Weinstock, the Student Council Staff Advisor, and handed it to her. In it, he thanked her for teaching him not to speak in his mother tongue when others who do not understand are present, because it is disrespectful. What was amazing was that not only was the message received, but it was immediately acted upon, a true sign of how the Future Aces philosophy is a source of inspiration for our students and for us!

Regarding the Future Aces Student Presentation to the George Harvey CI, Spring 2006

I was very moved when my Council Vice President (Nikita Parekh) came to me after the presentation and confessed that it changed her life.

She always visited my classroom to chat, share ideas and give me encouragement when I needed inspiration in my busy day. She told me that during September she has been depressed and unable to bring herself to carry on the way that she used to (including our visits). It was the presentation today that gave her the strength to carry on and feel uplifted. I introduced her to Herb, explained what had happened and asked him to give her a few words of wisdom. He held her hand and they talked for ten minutes. What they said I'll never know - but - the impact of those words and the look on both of their faces will forever stay in my mind.

This is but one small example of the huge results of the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Ace Foundation and its presentations. There are millions more, but we all know there are no boundaries for people who raise the bar for all of us.

Just keep supporting what Herb does so he can keep on doing what he does.
